M25 in hygienic design
The KEL-DPZ in round design have an integrated metric thread from M25 to M63. Icotek is expanding its range to include the standard metric size M25.
The new M25 size enables quick and easy cable entry. Cables from 4 x Ø 3.2 to 5.2 millimeters or 1 x Ø 3.2 to 6.5 millimeters and 2 x Ø 3.2 to 5.2 millimeters can be fed through. This allows cables to be inserted quickly and safely into control cabinets and housings without connectors and sealed with protection ratings up to IP68 (certified to DIN EN 60529:2000-09) and UL Type 4X. Further certifications such as Ecolab, cURus and HL3 have been granted, according to the manufacturer. Punctured and no longer required membranes are resealed with ST-B plugs. Inserted pipes are automatically sealed and strain-relieved. The hygienic design means there are no dirt pockets.
The KEL-DPZ consists of two components: A feed-through plate made of elastomer and a polyamide body integrated into it. Like all icotek products, the KEL-DPZ series is halogen and silicone-free. The matching polyamide locknuts are included with the KEL-DPZ. Samples and certificates are available from the manufacturer. The new KEL-DPZ is available immediately.
