Hybrid safety module
Use in EtherNet I/P applications
The hybrid MVK Fusion fieldbus modules from Murrelektronik combine three elementary functions of installation technology: digital standard sensors and actuators, digital safety-related sensors and actuators and IO-Link.
This 3-in-1 solution is increasingly in demand. That is why the company now also has a hybrid module for EtherNet I/P applications in its range, based on the Common Industrial Protocol Safety (CIP Safety): the MVK Fusion CIP Safety. Murrelektronik uses M-12 Power L-coded connectors. They have a compact design and a high current carrying capacity.
The safety modules for EtherNet I/P simplify the configuration of safety-related sensors and actuators. Parameterization is carried out in the engineering tool of the control system manufacturer. No special manufacturer tool is required to transfer the SNN (Safety Network Number) and the parameterization to a new device.
