Controls optimize milling process
Siemens updates the Sinumerik 828D and 840D sI machine tool controls.
The software update SW 4.8 SP3 with Panel Processing Unit (PPU) 4 is available for the 828D. The hardware has improved connectivity through access to central data and programs. There is also the External PC Remote Control for connecting other PCs via VPC. The CNC-Sinumerik-828D now also has a second control channel for milling.
The Sinumerik Operate Display Manager for the Sinumerik 840D sI utilizes the possibilities of larger widescreen control panel fronts.
