Connected Machining
Networking machines individually
Connected Machining from Heidenhain, which will be on show at Intec, networks the machines in the workshop with the company network in a digitalized production environment.
In addition to networking, the function package also enables the individual, operation-related use of data. The Statemonitor software gives the user an overview of the current machine and order status and provides information on machine messages. This allows the user to keep track of machine tools and orders. With the help of Connected Machining, they can also call up all production-relevant data from their network and use it directly on the control system. The Remote Desktop Manager makes it possible to switch from the control screen to the user interface of a Windows PC. Technical drawings, CAD data, NC programs, tool data, work instructions, assembly lists and stock information are thus digitally available at the machine.
Data from the workshop can also be made available on the network from the machine. This means that all areas in the company network have direct access to all relevant data.Extended Workspace extends the control with an additional workspace for the user. This allows the TNC user to keep an eye on all relevant data while the control program is running. With Extended Workspace Comfort, this is done via an additional screen. Extended Workspace Compact displays additional information in a separate window on the control screen. A special touchscreen in 24-inch widescreen format is available for the TNC controls for this purpose. as
