Conec has added new variants to its portfolio of 7/8-inch connectors.

Conec has been supplying circular connectors in an inch design for many years, particularly for the requirements of the American market. In addition to overmoulded cable connectors, the product portfolio also includes field attachable connectors and flange connectors with stranded wires or for direct PCB mounting.

In order to meet the increased requirements for higher current transmission, the 7/8-inch connector product portfolio has been expanded to include new variants of overmolded connectors and mounting flanges with stranded wire connection.

These versions have a strand cross-section of 2.5 instead of the previous 1.5 square millimetres, which means that they can withstand a current of 16 amperes at an ambient temperature of 40 degrees Celsius. The overmoulded connectors are available in axial and angled versions with 2+PE and 4+PE as well as PVC and TPU cables. The stranded wire flanges are available in axial form for front mounting (coupling and plug) and for rear mounting (plug only), whereby other flange variants can also be offered on request. as
