SIC takes over laser specialist Zaniboni

SIC Marking has acquired the Italian company Zaniboni. The company is a laser specialist for customized marking and traceability solutions in the automotive and mechanical engineering industries.

The new name of the company, which was founded in Turin in 1977, is now SIC Zaniboni. Zaniboni first used laser technology in its devices back in 1994. In doing so, the company set new standards in the implementation of this laser technology, which was still in its infancy at the time. In more than 40 years, Zaniboni has made a name for itself worldwide, during which time it has been able to establish a number of strategic partnerships with international corporations, according to the press release. For example, several hundred solutions have been supplied to SKF worldwide to date.

"We are very pleased with our latest company expansion in Italy. On the one hand, this will enable us to expand our Italian business, as we now have a workforce of around thirty employees here. On the other hand, it strengthens our contacts with our major customers and increases our international presence," says Jean-Manuel Pauchet, Managing Director of the SIC Marking Group.

Mr. Zaniboni, Managing Director of SIC Zaniboni adds: "In order to secure our future growth, it was extremely important for us to become part of an internationally active company that specializes in solutions for marking and industrial traceability.
