Mann + Hummel: Marco Nava succeeds Walter Lamparter

With effect from April 1, 2020, Marco Nava will become the new Vice President Membrane Solutions at Mann + Hummel and in his role will head up the global membrane and module specialist Microdyn-Nadir. The company has been part of the Mann + Hummel Group since 2014. Nava succeeds Walter Lamparter, who has been Chief Executive Officer at Microdyn-Nadir since 2005.

Most recently, Marco Nava worked as Managing Director of Microdyn-Nadir Italy. In this position, he successfully expanded the Italian water business and established the Oltremare brand as Europe's leading private label manufacturer of reverse osmosis wound membranes.

Fua Nipah, Head of the Life Sciences & Environment Business Unit at Mann + Hummel, which includes Microdyn-Nadir: "We are very pleased to have Marco join us as Head of our global membrane and module business for water filtration, wastewater treatment and process applications. We are convinced that with his decades of experience and his extensive network in the membrane business, he will support us very well in further expanding this business area."

Walter Lamparter, CEO of Microdyn-Nadir, is moving to an external consulting role at his own request. Lamparter has been part of the Microdyn-Nadir Group since its acquisition in 2014. From April 2020, he will continue to work closely with the company and support the team led by Marco Nava with his valuable expertise.
