Hose configurators
The personalized "wish hose"
A hose configurator has been added to the Schwer Fittings eShop. This allows you to put together a complete, customized hose with the right fitting and compression fitting. Four steps are necessary for the exact determination of the complete hose with fittings:
1. define the hose, including the hose length
2. Define left fitting
3. Define right fitting
4. set twist angle
If a step needs to be corrected, you can switch between the steps. This guides the user through the configuration. By selecting the different components step by step, an image of the configuration is added. This means that the user always sees the original hose with the corresponding original fitting. There is a logic that only shows the components in the pop-up menu that match the hose and its size. The press fittings are selected automatically and the user does not have to worry about them. Hydraulic, thermoplastic and PTFE stainless steel hoses are available for selection. The hose fittings are available in the most common connection types such as DIN, JIC, BSP and SAE. sw
