Flexible and fast testing

Before a hydraulic block leaves production, it is put on the test bench and must be tested for functionality and tightness. This ensures and also documents that it is working without leaks. KVT-Fastening has various versions of WEH quick adapters in its range for fast, reliable leak testing: the TW17 and TW19 models are specially designed to meet the requirements of the hydraulics industry. The quick adapters do not have to be laboriously screwed on and off. Instead, they can be clamped directly into the existing connections with internal threads thanks to the collet mechanism. By pressing the hand lever, the threaded collets collapse, the adapter is inserted into the thread and as soon as the employee releases the lever, a pressure-tight connection is created. The higher the test pressure, the tighter the adapters clamp into the thread and can withstand pressures of up to 350 bar. The quick and easy assembly not only saves working time and therefore production costs, but is also gentle on joints and tendons, making work much more pleasant.

The TW17 adapter is available in various sizes and is equipped with additional holes in the collets as standard, which increase the flow rate of the medium. The TW17H variant is equipped with manual actuation using a hand lever. Alternatively, KVT-Fastening also offers the variants TW17V with valve button and pneumatic actuation as well as TW17P for external manual, semi-automatic or fully automatic actuation.

The TW19 model was specially developed for internal thread applications in the high and low pressure range. Thanks to the clamping lever actuation, it is firmly connected to the component even under high lateral forces, such as those caused by heavy or rigid hoses. The use of just one seal inside the device makes the adapter particularly easy to maintain. am
