Grenzebach has added the Mobile Robot MR10S to its logistics fleet. This consists of the standard L1200S vehicle and a collaborative robot and is therefore safe for human-robot collaboration.

"Mobile robots are location-independent and can therefore be flexibly combined with almost all work and process steps in the factory of the future," explains Erwin Herre. The mobile robot supports the employee and relieves them of strenuous and ergonomically unfavorable work steps. The robot can handle up to ten kilograms and works at a range of 1,300 millimetres with high positioning accuracy.

In addition, the accuracy can be increased by means of integrated image processing. The required or extracted energy is made available to the mobile robot without contact by means of inductive transmission in line with requirements and optimized for service life. All transport and handling tasks are coordinated by the Grenzebach Fleet Manager, one of the apps of the Grenzebach Application Server (GAS). as
