Different tools at the same time
Onrobot has launched a new system solution for its collaborative end-of-arm tooling (EoAT).
hanks to a standardization of the mechanical and electrical interfaces, the Danish manufacturer's products are now compatible with almost all commercially available robot brands with full functionality. The new Dual Quick Changer also enables the simultaneous use of different gripping tools. Previously only available as a separate module, the Quick Changer is now integrated into all Onrobot products as standard. This means that there is now only one cable that needs to be reconnected when changing tools. This allows users to replace the grippers and sensors more quickly and therefore use their robots more time-efficiently and flexibly. The new Dual Quick Changer also makes it possible for the first time to use two different gripping tools on one robot arm at the same time.
