Delta robot

With double z-stroke

The new RLZ delta robot from Autonox24 offers twice the z-stroke of standard delta robots of the same size thanks to its cranked upper arms and movable cardan joint.

This is particularly interesting for applications in the packaging industry, as the significantly longer z-travel makes the RLZ suitable for packaging in deep containers. The RLZ is currently available for nominal payloads of three kilograms and with a working circle diameter of 1,200 millimetres and four degrees of freedom. The product range is to be gradually expanded. With a repeat accuracy of plus/minus 0.1, the new robot mechanism positions with pinpoint accuracy, according to the manufacturer.

An extension on the tool carrier ensures that the robot's lower arms do not collide with interfering contours. In the future, the parallel kinematics can be supplemented with an integrated tool changing system, an additional tool shaft and an internal media supply. The RLZ can be operated with all standard control systems. The entire automation process can therefore be implemented on just one control platform. as
