Off through the tour

RSP has introduced the Ciro - Circular Rotator, a cable feed-through for greater robot flexibility. The Ciro is located on the sixth axis of the industrial robot. The cables and hoses, which often represent an interfering contour and restrict a robot, are routed internally through the Ciro.

There, they are gently and intelligently wound and unwound, allowing the robot an extended working radius of plus/minus 250 degrees. In contrast to conventional rotary feed-through systems, with the Ciro the user is not limited in the type and number of media transfers (air, water, signals). This opens up many new fields of application. For example, wherever liquids and many signals are transmitted. Small robots with low payloads and torques cannot use conventional rotary feed-through systems due to their weight and required torque.

Ciro is smooth-running and therefore also fits on small industrial robots. The manufacturer also emphasizes the simple installation, maintenance-free operation and increased service life of the hosepack. as
