Vibration-free high-feed parting off

With the Multi F Grip, Iscar has launched a stable parting-off system for the existing Tang-Grip and Do-Grip series.

The tool holder is available in parting widths of 2 to 5 mm and was developed for vibration-free high-feed parting on the X-axis, among other things. According to Iscar, bars with diameters of up to 120 mm can be machined with feed rates from 0.2 mm.

The Multi F Grip is designed for jet-cut cooling up to 140 bar. The coolant is supplied directly to the rake angle surface of the cutting insert. Various adapters for the existing Tang-Grip (single-edged) and Do-Grip (double-edged) systems can be attached to the base carrier, each with two to four insert seats.
