With 5-axis simultaneous control

The Variaxis C-600 vertical machining center with 5-axis simultaneous control from Mazak can precisely machine workpieces with a diameter of 730 mm, a height of 450 mm and a weight of 500 kg.

The trunnion-mounted table with a diameter of 600 mm and the roller gearbox on the B and C axes contribute to the special torsional rigidity. Mazak specifies rapid traverse speeds of 42 m/min on the X, Y and Z axes; tool change times are 4.5 s.

The torsion-resistant spindle is available in four different versions: as a standard spindle with 12,000 rpm, as a special version with high torque and 15,000 rpm, as a high-speed spindle with 18,000 rpm and as a high-performance spindle with 20,000 rpm.
