At 4 meters long, 2.8 meters wide and 3.3 meters high, the Kern Fortis HD is the largest machine Kern has ever developed. Even at this size, it achieves the accuracy of the Micro HD, reveals Managing Director Simon Eickholt. "We are convinced that no other 5-axis machine has achieved such results to date - even in series production."

Another highlight is the Kern Micro HD+, which was presented last year and produces components from various applications, and the Kern Femto E3 will also be producing carbide dies at the stand. The machine produces shape accuracies in the low single-digit micrometer range and surface finishes of up to Ra = 0.1 μm.
