At the AMB, WFL Millturn Technologies is presenting the M20-G Millturn turning-boring-milling center. In addition to gear-skiving technology, the trend is moving towards automation and the integration of sensors. The latest solutions from WFL range from smart software for programming screws to intelligent tools and clamping devices.

The M20-G is equipped with the intCell automation solution. This is mounted on the right-hand side of the machine; the workpieces are provided on a belt storage system. With the concept of integrated loading, WFL has reduced the space requirement by 50% compared to a conventional production cell.

The integrated loading of the M20-G is designed for chucked parts up to 300 mm in diameter and 15 kg workpiece weight. For shaft parts, a workpiece diameter of 100 mm and a workpiece length of 300 mm are possible. A new feature is the turning-boring-milling unit with integrated spindle motor and a B-axis with torque motor. Another highlight is the single tool carrier with B-axis on the lower slide.
