Smart precision tools
The machining of the future
Iscar has launched a global product campaign under the name "Logiq Chess Line" and will be bringing a variety of smart tools onto the market in the future. The aim of the campaign is to offer customers high-performance precision tools that meet the increasing demands for economical and productive machining in the age of digital manufacturing.
Increasing networking in the sense of Industry 4.0 will change production and therefore also the world of precision tools. Process control plays an important role in this. Tools that work quickly and reliably, minimize non-productive times, produce high surface qualities and are energy-efficient are therefore required. In the past, the company has invested heavily in smart factories, automation, data exchange and production technology. Around five percent of turnover is invested in research and development. sw
