At Metav, Haimer will be presenting its portfolio, which ranges from carbide tools to various tool holders, shrinking and balancing technology and tool presetters. According to the manufacturer, all products are designed to work together and offer the prerequisites for network integration and continuous data flow.
The products on show include the network-compatible Microset setting tools as well as shrink-fit and balancing devices. These include the Power Clamp i4.0 series. The shrinking devices have a new design and integrated cooling. According to the manufacturer, the patented NG coil enables the shrinking of tool diameters up to 32 mm as standard. Interfaces for data communication with production networks and optionally available scanners for reading the shrink parameters make this series "Industry 4.0-ready". Another advantage is the new software, which now offers a wide range of shrinking options on an industrial-grade 7" touch display. sw
