Special tools for pipe production
Removal of sweat deposits
Dormer Pramet is launching new scarfing tools specifically for removing welding deposits, such as those that occur during pipe production.
The company announces a new insert, additional sizes and new tools. The additions include SPUB 19, a series of positive, single-sided indexable inserts with screw fixing for scarfing the outer weld seam on pipes.
The range of double-sided negative indexable inserts with eight cutting edges for external formwork has been extended to include the SNMX 1507-R with a concave top and the SNMA 1506-R with a flat top. A range of washers is available so that the new inserts can also be used with existing holders.
