The cloud-based CoroPlus Machining Insights application gives users direct access to data on machine and tool utilization. Manufacturing companies can use it to analyze and optimize production capacity utilization, thereby increasing both manufacturing efficiency and overall equipment effectiveness.
In order to use the digital service, machine tools must first be connected to the factory network. The collected machine data is combined, compressed and encrypted using software installed on the company's own server. It is then streamed to the cloud-based CoroPlus Machining Insights application. As a result, all incidents and malfunctions during production can be displayed in real time and machine and tool utilization, parts production, employee productivity and the condition of the systems can be permanently monitored. Real-time visualization takes place exclusively online and is accessible via any web browser and therefore possible via any Internet-enabled end device. To ensure the necessary protection, the connection between the production sites and the cloud is established via Secure Shell (SSH). As a cloud provider, Amazon Web Services (AWS) also guarantees the necessary IT security standards.
