November 10 to 13
New Grindtec date
Following the announcement a few days ago that Grindtec 2020 would be postponed, the new date has now been set: The grinding technology trade fair will take place at Messe Augsburg from November 10 to 13, 2020.
According to trade fair organizer AFAG, this means that the sequence of days requested by the industry with a duration from Tuesday to Friday could be realized. The organizer had decided on 1 March to postpone Grindtec 2020 until the autumn. This decision was made in close consultation with the state and local authorities responsible for the current situation regarding the spread of the coronavirus and taking into account the recommendations for action for major events issued by the Robert Koch Institute. This decision was supported and endorsed by the trade association FDPW - Fachverband der Präzisionswerkzeugmechaniker, the trade fair advisory board and other major exhibitors at Grindtec. The city of Augsburg and the districts concerned also support this decision.
The next Grindtec is planned for 2022 on the usual date in March.
