According to the company, a new performance package has reduced the processing time and thus increased efficiency. This was made possible by the interaction of generator technology, process parameters, gap evaluation and drive technology.

With the QXD 250, PCD tools can be sharpened in a single clamping operation. Thanks to the VPulse EDM generator technology, this results in a good surface finish with a high stock removal rate. In addition to the software for plate-tipped PCD tools, the ExLevel Pro software enables hybrid sharpening - eroding and grinding - of cylindrical blanks with sintered or soldered PCD for drills, milling cutters or reamers.
