Intec: 3D lasered tools
Chips are controlled
In addition to the tried-and-tested range of tools, visitors to the Simtek stand will see an extended selection of 3D laser-cut chip form geometries, the versatile Simmill 9W milling tool system and newly developed, length-adjustable holders.
A particular focus is on individual tool solutions for machining the smallest diameters. The company sets standards in chip control with its 3D-lasered chip form geometries. This technology increases process reliability and extends tool life. The laser geometries make the tools sharper and more precise, enabling them to reliably meet chip control requirements. The 3D lasered tools are suitable for applications in the automotive industry, medical technology and other sectors with high demands on precision and process stability.
Another trade fair highlight is the Simmill 9W tool family. It combines the precision and stability of monoblock tools with the flexibility and cost-effectiveness of modular systems. The system is particularly suitable for applications such as grooving, parting and slotting - for example in the automotive industry, in mechanical engineering and for demanding precision applications. For Simtek, the series closes the gap between classic, modular interchangeable tools and monoblock solutions. Thanks to the special toothing technology, the system ensures maximum stability and precision - even with milling depths of up to 16.5 mm in the standard range, which exceeds the capabilities of other comparable tool solutions. With standard cutting widths from 0.5 to 6.0 mm and an integrated coolant supply, the series scores highly in terms of both efficiency and sustainability. In the individual area, the application possibilities in terms of diameters, widths and depths are even greater.
