ER collet holders are generally used on sliding headstock lathes. The problem with this is that the limited clearance in the lathes leaves little room for clamping the nut. According to the company, the new hydraulic chuck enables clamping using an Allen key. This significantly simplifies and speeds up tool changes. It also makes it easier to connect a coolant line on the underside.

The new hydraulic chuck for sliding headstock lathes is now available in six sizes.
