New collet chuck
Big Daishowa presents the HSK-EZ15 Mega Micro Chuck collet. This version has been specially developed for machining small workpieces such as jewelry, watches and in micromachining.
The collet chuck was developed in accordance with the HSK-EZ15 standard. This new interface replaces the previous ATC-E15 standard and enables the miniaturization of spindles to meet the requirements of the microtechnology market in terms of precision, performance and reliability. The new HSK-EZ15 type is available in three variants with outer diameters of 10, 12 and 14 mm. Each variant is suitable for high-speed machining of workpieces and is suitable for milling cutters or drills with diameters from 0.45 mm to 6.05 mm. The manufacturer guarantees a concentricity of less than 3 µm at the cutting edge. These collet holders can be used at speeds of up to 80,000 rpm .
