Tool presetter with high repeat accuracy
BIG Kaiser will be showcasing its Speroni STP Futura range of tool presetters at its stand in Hall 3. According to the company, these are characterized by a high repeat accuracy of 1 µm or better.
The Futura models are made entirely of aged pearlitic cast iron, which increases system stability and durability. Other features include Micron precision Heidenhain glass scales, Schneeberger guideways and a large recirculating ball surface. High-frequency sub-pixel analysis provides 45x standard optical magnification. A high-precision vertically rotating spindle is integrated. BIG Kaiser specifies the concentricity as 1 µm and the concentricity deviation (TIR) at 300 mm as less than 5 µm.
