The 9,000 international trade visitors can expect 70 high-tech machines - including the new NTX 3000 as a world premiere - and innovative manufacturing processes such as additive manufacturing on 8,500 m² of exhibition space.

The central theme of the in-house exhibition is the "Path of Digitization", with which DMG Mori is driving forward the digital transformation in mechanical engineering worldwide. With the Celos app-based control and operating environment as well as exclusive technology cycles and power tools, we are actively shaping digitalized production. Over 10,000 DMG Mori machines delivered are already equipped with Celos. With the open, digital platform Adamos, the company also offers its customers and suppliers a consistent and open digitalization solution. In the short term, over 100 customers will be connected to the new IIoT platform and all machines will have full connectivity.

As a further milestone in its digitalization strategy, DMG Mori acquired Werkbliq GmbH from Bielefeld with its 20-strong team at the end of 2017. The company offers a cross-manufacturer platform that connects all parties involved in the maintenance process. With the help of individual dashboards, machine operators receive all important information and key figures on the Werkbliq user interface at the touch of a button. "This digitalizes and significantly accelerates the entire maintenance and servicing process," says Christian Thönes, CEO of DMG Mori AG.

From the start of the in-house exhibition, all motor spindles in the "Master" series are covered by a 36-month warranty - with no hourly limit. "At DMG Mori, First Quality means quality without compromise more than ever before," says Thönes. The Master spindles are characterized by extreme reliability and a significantly longer service life compared to conventional spindles. One reason for this is the use of Vacrodur - an innovative steel that is characterized by extremely high resilience, wear resistance and temperature stability. In 2018, the company also wants to set new benchmarks in service and become a service excellence champion for its customers with the "First Quality" campaign and the "Customer First" program. cs
