Software for CAD-based planning time determination
At this year's AMB special show Digital Way, HSi will be presenting software for automated planning time and cost calculation as well as work plan creation.
It enables planners in work preparation to automatically determine planning times for milled parts based on CAD data. The HSi system HScad/VX can also be used to analyze the CAD model and find suitable raw material by calculating the allowance. The volume to be roughed is determined by comparing the raw part with the finished part. An algorithm deduces the surfaces to be finished. The system selects the tools according to the processing direction, accessibility and the dimensions of the volume and surfaces.
