Automated fine boring tool
Minimize waste and time
With EWA, BIG Kaiser is launching an intelligent, fully automatic fine boring tool that does not require a human operator.
As the process no longer has to be stopped to take measurements and manually adjust the fine boring tool, both processing time and waste are minimized.
The EWA is sealed against dirt and water in accordance with IP69. According to BIG Kaiser, the clamping system provides additional stability to ensure consistently high reliability and precision at cutting speeds of over 200 m/min. The adjustment range is 22 mm, and an integrated acceleration sensor measures vibrations during the cutting process. If the machine vibrates excessively, the cutting parameters are automatically adjusted.
