Automate micromachining
For its microone 5-axis micromachining center, Zorn Maschinenbau has corresponding bar feeders in its range that require less than 0.5 m² of additional floor space.
A maximum of 250 mm long rods can be fed from a standard magazine.
The magazine can store 600 such components with a diameter of 6 mm, which corresponds to a total length of 150 m of raw material. Rods 60 to 250 mm long with a diameter of 1 to 10 mm can be separated and fed. A specially developed handling axis with two swivel grippers automatically removes the components and feeds them to the machine for processing in short cycles. An additional gripping device can also be installed on the bar feeder for removing and depositing the processed workpieces.
