Lectures and exhibition on metalworking
On Thursday, September 17, around 20 AMB exhibitors such as Ceratizit, Chiron, EMCO, Fanuc, Index, Paul Horn, Siemens and other well-known companies will be presenting their latest new products and innovations in exclusive presentations and the accompanying table-top exhibition at the International Congress Center Stuttgart (ICS).
The Matchmaking Area also offers the opportunity for personal exchange and will be supplemented by a matchmaking app that can be used to make appointments at the event.
In the four topic slots, visitors will learn everything they need to know about the latest innovations in tools, machine tools and machine tools, as well as automation and software. In 20 minutes each, the exhibitors will give an update and present their portfolio. Individual questions can then be discussed and new contacts made at the table tops.
Trade fairs in times of Corona
The trade fair industry was one of the first sectors of the economy to be affected by the shutdown and will probably be one of the last to return to normality. "We are all the more pleased that there are good reasons to come to the Stuttgart trade fair grounds on September 17," explains Gunnar Mey, Head of the Industry Department at Messe Stuttgart. Mey emphasizes: "Of course, we cannot return to normality quite yet. A comprehensive concept has been drawn up to ensure the safety of visitors.
In addition to admission management to control the density of people, extensive hygiene measures such as extended cleaning cycles or additional hand disinfection options, Messe Stuttgart also recommends the German government's tracking app. Visitors do their part by keeping a safe distance of 1.5 meters or wearing everyday masks until they have taken their place at the stand, in the matchmaking area or in the lecture area. "After a long period of standstill, we now want to provide new impetus together with the industry." The AMB Technology Forum offers an attractive platform for this.
