Adapter with five plate seats
Iscar has added an adapter with five plate seats to its Tang-Grip family.
The company offers the Logiq 5 Grip with five inserts in 2 and 3 mm widths. The adapters enable cutting processes up to a workpiece diameter of 4 mm. According to the company, the combination with the tangential clamping results in maximum clamping force. The tool ensures reliable processing and the user benefits from a long tool life. Changing the inserts requires no readjustment.
Cooling is designed with a maximum coolant pressure of 340 bar and takes place directly in the cutting zone via the channels in the tool holder. The adapter was designed for grooving and parting off.
