Four standardized series of different sizes and graduated thread diameters are available, as well as a special series with particularly high clamping forces. The SC power clamping screw contains a special internal feature that acts as a mechanical force amplifier. This results in particularly high clamping forces with comparatively low tightening torques and maximum operational safety. The wedge clamping system is self-locking in any position and offers a clamping stroke of up to three millimetres.

In addition to the M36, M48, M64 and M80 sizes, the manufacturer also offers a special SC 100 version. It can generate clamping forces of up to 250 Newton meters with a tightening torque of just 130 Newton meters. The power clamping screw is operated with a 14-millimeter Allen key. For safety reasons and to obtain reproducible values, it is best to use a torque wrench for operation. pb
