Lifting sheets highly dynamically and effortlessly
The eye-catcher at Schmalz is the robot cell on which the SXT tooling system with the new SAXB suction pads runs.
The lightweight gripper kit is based on compact components and is suitable for highly dynamic processes with maximum output. The new SAXB suction cup securely holds even oiled sheets during fast movements. With its bell shape and 1.5 bellows, it also adapts perfectly to curved structures without deforming the surface of thin sheets. In the area of manual handling, Schmalz is presenting the VacuMaster Comfort vacuum lifter. It can pick up metal sheets weighing up to 750 kilograms. The KLT gripper for R-, RL- and C-KLT is also new. It grips crates securely and facilitates operation with a patented centering aid.
