Trade fair for the wire and tube industry
Wire and Tube takes place at the Düsseldorf exhibition center
Messe Düsseldorf announces that the existing date for the on-site Wire and Tube 2020 trade fair event will remain unchanged. The trade fair for the wire and tube industry will open its doors at the Düsseldorf Exhibition Center from December 7 to 11, 2020.
Dr. Gunther Voswinckel, President of the International Tube Association (ITA), is in favour of holding wire & Tube 2020: "We welcome this decision and are looking forward to the start of the trade fair in December. Messe Düsseldorf has already proven with the successful staging of the Caravan Salon that trade fairs are indispensable marketing instruments even in these times. We are finally looking forward to meeting customers and suppliers from the pipe industry in person again."
"This year we are celebrating our 50th anniversary. The fact that we can celebrate this anniversary at wire & Tube 2020 is also due to the excellent hygiene and safety concept implemented by Messe Düsseldorf, which I was able to see for myself during Caravan Salon 2020. If this concept is adapted to our industry trade fair in December, nothing will stand in the way of a successful event for everyone involved," adds Bernd Lohmüller, Managing Director of Maschinenfabrik Niehoff and member of the Executive Board of the International Wire and Machinery Association.
Drew Richards, President of the Wire and Cable Industry Suppliers Association is also positive about the upcoming event: "We applaud Messe Düsseldorf's efforts to deliver wire 2020 in a way that reflects the current conditions of the industry and the world. The WCISA also supports its member companies who plan to exhibit in the North American pavilion or on their own. In doing so, we respect the individual decisions of each member company."
Friedrich-Georg Kehrer, Portfolio Director wire / Tube and Flow Technologies at Messe Düsseldorf, adds: "Despite the tense economic situation, we are expecting great interest from visitors from Europe. So far, one third of the guests at both trade fairs have come from Germany, two thirds were international experts. The exhibitors from industry and trade will be presenting their customers with a diverse and broad range of news and trends from the tube, wire and cable industries at the Düsseldorf exhibition grounds from December 7 to 11."
The world's leading trade fairs wire & Tube will take place under the current hygiene and distancing rules of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia. You can find more information on Messe Düsseldorf's hygiene concept at www.tube.de/de/Besucher/Hygienekonzept
