Modular system for roll forming system
With the roll forming system 4.1, Profilmetall is presenting a modular and integrated roll forming system that can be individually configured and adapted to new production conditions.
According to Profilmetall, changing product ranges can be manufactured quickly and cost-effectively. The modular system can be used to configure both single-purpose machines and multifunctional roll forming lines, which can be used to process thin-walled sheets up to 2.5 mm thick.
Individual modules can be replaced or added to, as all elements have their own freely selectable drive and gear system and are supplied pre-wired. This means that they only need to be flange-mounted to the system and a few connections made. All modules have an integrated transport system and can be moved.
