Mobile laser processing
The Aloflex is a laser processing system for laser hardening, laser cladding and CMT welding. According to the manufacturer Alotec, it promises more flexibility with up to 10 kW laser power for laser hardening with zoom or scan optics, laser cladding with powder or wire for external & internal coating (powder) and CMT welding directly on site at the customer's premises.
Dust-sensitive components are not exposed to the powder during powder deposition welding and are therefore protected. Mobile use can be carried out with a crawler chassis directly on or with the aid of a multi-clamping plate directly on the component. An intuitive radio remote control ensures clear maneuvering in the narrow working area and a high level of work safety. Up to eight synchronized axes for mobile use and ten axes for use as a stationary laser system are available for the process. Operation of the mobile laser system is simple and intuitive thanks to predefined macros.
Compact robot chassis
The chassis with robot is light, compact and flexible. With the Aloflex mobile laser system, Alotec made a conscious decision to relocate sensitive units to the mobile media station. Dust-sensitive components such as the cooler, PC, laser and monitor are not exposed to direct laser operation and are therefore fully protected. The chassis with robot can be kept as light and compact, agile and flexible as no other mobile laser system. The robot is connected to the media station via a 15 m long, flexible energy chain and has a large, mobile workspace.
Another advantage of the Aloflex is that the robot can be detached from the crawler track and used directly on a component or on a linear unit as an Alohybrid with the benefits of a stationary laser processing system.
