Optimum energy distribution
Operating commercial vehicles efficiently with high-voltage distributors
High-voltage distribution units (HV PDUs) from Rose Systemtechnik enable the efficient operation of electrical construction machinery, commercial and municipal vehicles. The HV PDUs ensure optimum power distribution between the vehicle's high-voltage components. Robust housings made of stainless steel, polyester or aluminum protect the electronics of the systems from external influences.
HV PDUs from Rose Systemtechnik are suitable for all heavy electric vehicles on water and on land that require high voltages for propulsion. The high-voltage distributors not only protect all inputs and outputs at the poles - they also protect the individual elements and the connections from overload. By using HV PDUs, heavy electrically powered vehicles achieve high performance and work very efficiently at the same time.
All high-voltage distributors meet the requirements of protection classes IP66, IP67, IP69 and IP6K9K. They are therefore also insensitive to fine dust in road traffic. In addition, the HV PDUs have EMC protection, mains cable protection and a safety cut-out. They are also shock and vibration resistant. Rose offers a wide range of approvals for its high-voltage distributors: In addition to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, marine certifications and a railroad approval, certificates for the UK, South Africa, Brazil and India.
Rose manufactures its high-voltage distributors to customer specifications and adapts them perfectly to the respective application. The extensive range of services includes the mechanical processing of the housings according to specifications as well as the professional integration and wiring of all built-in components. On request, Rose can also handle the procurement of components and the professional connection of plugs and cables. Optionally, the HV PDU can also be equipped with compact water cooling.
At the iVT Expo trade fair on June 10 and 11 in Cologne, Rose will be presenting three complete high-voltage distribution systems made of aluminum, a PDU made of stainless steel and a heat sink for series applications, and the enclosure experts will also be available for individual consultations at the trade fair stand.
Intensive customer contact is part of the company's philosophy: users are supported from the initial idea through to series production of their high-voltage distributor. Together with the customer, they determine the type of protection, the material and the optimum arrangement of the components. Prototype production is possible from a quantity of 1. The finished high-voltage distributors are tested for compliance with the relevant safety requirements in our in-house laboratory.
