Chains, cables and assemblies: The Helukabel Group will be exhibiting durable drag chain cables with a robust TPE sheath and the new stainless steel version of the tried-and-tested SLE cable drag chain in Hanover.
Challenging industrial applications in adverse environments can be found in the offshore and energy sectors, for example. Helukabel subsidiary EKD Systems is presenting the new stainless steel version of the SLE energy chain type for these applications: it is corrosion-resistant, seawater-resistant and enables reliable and smooth energy supply even at temperatures as low as -40 °C. The chains are available in various sizes up to 150 mm high and 1,200 mm wide, carry loads of up to 60 kg per meter and enable unsupported lengths of up to 10 m. Inside, they can be customized with perforated aluminium bars, modular plastic inserts or cable-protecting foam inserts.
