Cooperation with Taiwan
WZL and NCKU DLT Lab plan collaboration
On November 7, the Machine Tool Laboratory of RWTH Aachen University (WZL), represented by Dr.-Ing. Dipl.-Wirt.Ing. Daniel Trauth, and the NCKU DLT Lab, represented by Prof. Kun-Ta Chuang, signed a Memorandum of Understanding. Both institutions have agreed to work together under the project name WZL x NCKU x IOTA PoC in the field of the Internet of Things, Internet of Production and a Distributed Ledger Technology-driven Data Economy.
The aim of the project is to identify the limits and challenges in the areas of education, consulting and research and development in the field of a DLT-driven data economy. The Industrial IOTA Lab Aachen (IILA) and the Blockchain Industry and Innovation Lab (BiiLabs) are also involved in the PoC. This ensures a secure and trustworthy IoP solution based on DLT. The project started in November.
