Working even more closely together

The framework conditions for this were laid down in a new partner agreement: STL Leber is thus still an official Hilscher "netX Design-In Partner" - and part of a worldwide network of selected engineering specialists who support customer companies in the development of individual products with the Hilscher netX platform. However, this is now at a higher level. This means that development projects can be implemented much faster, as the Leber engineers benefit from a direct line to the Hilscher engineering team. Joint projects are discussed and driven forward in regular update meetings. Webinars provide information about changes in the Hilscher product portfolio. And in exclusive one-to-one workshops and support sessions, STL employees can solve personal issues and tasks with a Hilscher contact person promptly and on an equal footing.

New Hilscher partner program

Hilscher had already launched a new partner program in the previous year in order to better meet the increasing demand for development services. In doing so, the company aims to improve its position, particularly with regard to application applications with customer-specific expertise. The aim is to incorporate the highly specialized knowledge of Hilscher partner companies into customer-specific solutions even more efficiently in future. This will save time and money for customer companies. At the same time, Hilscher and the Leber engineers want to continue to grow together on this basis.

The Hilscher partner program currently comprises a two-tier system in the embedded sector. While new partners reach the "Qualified" level after going through an onboarding process, established partners such as STL Leber are at the "Advanced" level: they have already successfully implemented multiple projects using Hilscher products and have a corresponding wealth of experience. STL Leber is currently the only Hilscher partner that fully meets the requirements for Advanced status.

Several projects successfully implemented

As part of the cooperation, the two companies have already successfully implemented a whole series of projects - for well-known corporations, but also for hidden champions such as E-T-A Elektrotechnische Apparate. At the world market leader for overcurrent protection, the REX12D series, a range of electrical circuit breakers, was expanded to include a bus controller with multi-protocol capability. Based on Hilscher's netX 90, STL was able to implement and certify the connection of the REX12D series to Profinet, Modbus, EtherCAT and Ethernet/IP networks for E-T-A in record time. Other topics such as adaptation to functional safety norms and standards as well as Industry 4.0 aspects and security issues are also being evaluated for customers. The fact that the Leber engineers are sought-after engineering partners is not least due to the fact that several team members have been familiar with Hilscher products for a good ten years.
