MPDV opens location in Malaysia
The Mosbach-based family business MPDV has opened a new location in Malaysia. The experts for IT solutions in manufacturing want to further drive their growth in the Asian region. "The market there is huge and the demand for software solutions for more efficient production is high. It is therefore essential for us as a provider to have a presence here too," says Nathalie Kletti, Member of the Management Board.
With branches in Singapore and China, the company has been represented in Asia since 2007 and supports companies of all sizes and industries on their way to the smart factory. With international cooperations such as the one with the Japanese robot manufacturer Fanuc, the company is also strengthening its global network and positioning itself as an expert for Industry 4.0. The establishment of a sales network for MPDV products is currently underway in Japan.
"Internationalization is also a central component of our strategy in 2019. This is the only way we can further expand our position as market leader and build on our previous successes," says Kletti.
The MES experts have been driving double-digit growth for years. More than 420 employees now work at eleven locations in Germany, China, Malaysia, Switzerland, Singapore and the USA. Last year, group turnover amounted to 60 million euros.
