According to Koelnmesse, this is in response to the increasingly worsening global situation surrounding the coronavirus. In addition to Asian countries, Italy and other EU countries are now also affected by cases of infection.

Since the weekend, exhibitors from the tool industry have once again expressed their great concern for the health of their employees. In view of these developments and the high proportion of Asian exhibitors at the
exhibitors at the hardware fair, the management of Koelnmesse has reassessed the current situation and set the new date in consultation with the industry.

Around 3,000 exhibitors, including around 1,200 from China, were expected at the International Hardware Fair, which takes place every two years in Cologne and is the innovation and business platform for the hardware industry.
