The first day of the "Trends in production technology and the supplier industry" forum, for example, will focus on smart production with regard to the collection and management of process data. Economic cooperation across national borders is a factor for the industry that should not be underestimated, even in times of the pandemic. A block of topics from the Saxony Economic Development Corporation will shed light on the market potential in Poland, the Czech Republic and Romania with a focus on mechanical engineering and the supplier industry.

On 3 March, there will be further insights into the field of mechanical engineering in Germany - on topics such as digitalization in production, adaptive manufacturing and programming cognitive robots. Visitors can also look forward to the presentations on the transformation in the automotive industry and the opportunities for suppliers arising from the structural change in the automotive industry. Key topics include e-mobility and hydrogen. Experts from B&R Industrie-Elektronik, HZwo (Saxon Innovation Cluster for Fuel Cells and Hydrogen), KAP Precision Components and Volkswagen, for example, will provide inspiration as speakers.
