Erwin Doll leaves Röchling Group

Erwin Doll, Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board of the Röchling Group and responsible for the Automotive division, is leaving the company with immediate effect due to strategic differences over the future direction of the division. His duties will be taken over by the Chairman of the Management Board, Prof. Dr. Hanns-Peter Knaebel.

"We would like to thank Erwin Doll for his many years of successful work for our company and for his significant achievements," said von Salmuth. "As a proven automotive expert, he has spent many years driving forward Röchling Automotive's ability to innovate, its internationalization and its path to becoming a system partner for its customers." Doll proved his expertise not least in difficult times, such as during the global crisis year of 2009. "We wish him all the best and every success in his future professional and private life," von Salmuth continued.

Erwin Doll, who studied mechanical engineering, joined the Röchling Group in 2006, where he was initially responsible for Sales and Development on the Automotive Board of Management, and later also for Asia. In 2011, he became Spokesman of the Executive Board of Röchling Automotive, followed by his appointment to the Group's Executive Board in 2016.
