Janitza electronics cracks the 500-employee mark
The Janitza Group has been recording high employee growth for years. Now the company has exceeded the significant figure of 500 employees. This development marks a decisive milestone in the company's history and reflects its success in a highly competitive market.
"We started with around 20 employees. Reaching the 500-employee mark is a great moment for our company," commented owner and Managing Director Markus Janitza on the development. It is a testament to the hard work, dedication and team spirit that each individual has brought to the company. We are confident that we will continue to grow and reach new milestones," he added.
In 2023, the group of companies already had over 460 employees worldwide. The German locations include several specialized companies that cover different areas of expertise in the fields of electronics, control systems and switchgear. ATCOM Datensysteme GmbH, based in Siegen, has been fully integrated since 01.01.2025. This adds valuable expertise in the planning, development and commissioning of individual automation solutions in the industrial environment to the portfolio.
The international activities include sales offices in Austria and subsidiaries in North America and Australia. In order to further strengthen the growth course and successfully implement the internationalization of the business divisions, the management was expanded in 2024 to include Alexander Veidt and Axel Hessenkämper.
The reasons for the strong increase in employees are understandable: Janitza employees work on exciting projects and develop innovative measurement technology solutions. There are also numerous benefits. These include participation in the company's success, a company pension scheme and health insurance, bike leasing, physiotherapy and a canteen allowance. Another important aspect is the issue of future security: Janitza wants to strengthen the region economically and places a particular focus on regionally based employees and partners. The new building project in Lahnau is the largest investment in the company's history. It will create expanded production space and additional offices to support the strong growth of the company and its employees.
The combination of innovative hardware and software as well as services, such as project solutions and service, a dedicated team and a clear strategic focus is well received by applicants and employees. Janitza is also aiming for similar growth this year as in previous years. A broader range of training and dual study programs as well as targeted cooperation with schools and universities will help to reach young talent at an early stage. At the same time, the company will continue to expand its employer branding measures such as advertising posters, bus advertising and social media activities in order to sustainably position Janitza as an attractive employer.
The company's rapid expansion and passing the 500-employee mark are proof that the company is on the right track. It shows that the growth strategy is working and that customer confidence and employee satisfaction are at a high level.
