Data management in automation
Conference "From system to platform"
Auvesy is organizing the first specialist conference on data management in industrial automation on 16 and 17 May.
The guiding theme of the know-how and networking platform "From system to platform" stands for the current repositioning of the versiondog software manufacturer as a solution provider for automation projects.
The two-day event is aimed at maintenance staff, production managers and plant and machine builders who want to optimize their data and change management and make it future-proof.
In addition to practical user presentations on version management, data backup and documentation in production, hot topics such as Industry 4.0, predictive maintenance, smart home, ICS monitoring and industrial security form the core of the conference.
Highlights include the Industry 4.0 plenary lecture by Prof. Dr. Zühlke (SmartFactory Kaiserslautern technology initiative) and a live hacking presentation by IT security consultant Wolfgang Strasser from add-yet. Knut Richter, former Bundesliga referee and team leader (development) at a large automotive company, will open the event with his keynote speech "The decision is made". The presentations will be held in three parallel sessions so that participants can choose their own focus.
At the accompanying Microfair, partners Siemens, Mitsubishi Electric, IAGB, Itaricon, Cognex and Itris Automation will be showcasing a wide range of automation solutions and future technologies.
Another premiere will be the presentation of the Innovation Award for the best versiondog implementation, which will take place during the evening event on May 16.
