Bott: Jan Willem Jongert succeeds Reinhard Wollermann-Windgasse

Jan Willem Jongert joined the Bott Group as Managing Director and Spokesman of the Management Board in January 2018. In this position, he succeeds Dr. Reinhard Wollermann-Windgasse, who is retiring at the end of March. However, he will remain associated with the company as a shareholder.

Jan Willem Jongert studied mechanical engineering and international marketing management. Born in the Netherlands in 1964, he was CEO of Schwarzmüller, a leading manufacturer of towed commercial vehicles. He previously held various positions at the Jungheinrich Group.

During his activities in various management positions in an international environment, he gained experience in the fields of mechanical engineering and vehicle construction as well as intralogistics. He therefore has the ideal qualifications to succeed him on the management board.

Dr. Reinhard Wollermann-Windgasse took over the management of the Bott Group in 2005. He succeeded in more than doubling turnover to around 124 million euros in the 2017 financial year. He developed bott into a modern and successful company that is strongly positioned in Europe and is expanding worldwide. kp
