Bosch Rexroth takes over Elmo Motion Control

Bosch Rexroth is investing in the expansion of its factory automation business and has agreed to acquire the motion control specialist Elmo Motion Control from Israel.

Elmo develops and produces electric servo drives and drive controls for industrial automation. The powerful and precise drives complement the Bosch Rexroth portfolio around the automation platform ctrlX Automation. "Factory automation is a key focus at Bosch Rexroth. We are strengthening our portfolio, both organically through the development of innovative products and through suitable acquisitions such as Elmo," says Thomas Fechner, Head of Automation and Electrification Solutions at Bosch Rexroth.
